If I was to say something nice about this album, it would be that it is horriable dissappointing. Now if I was to be brutally honest then I would say this album is shit. It's bland, boring, and whiney. Why? is a talented lyricists and this album shows it. Yet he lacks at singing and that's what he focuses. This is akin to an alto alarm clock going off for forty minutes. To make matters worse is the backing band he has on the record. Moving far from the electronic beats with smatterings of acoustic guitar and other noises, Why? decided to sound like every coffee house reject I have had to stomach. Great if I wanted to hear that I would just shoot myself. I am hard on this record because of how amazing I founr Oaklandazulasylum. I realize it would be hard to top or equal that cd, and that artists have to grow and change their musical stylings. But this is not growing. Rather it feels vacant, somehow hollow.
