I'm piggy-backing on Blair's Grant Lee Buffalo post from last week, just for the opportunity to post my favorite GLB song - When I first heard GLB, I was living in England and heard this band from California singing about Texas (my home state) - It took me 3 months to track down the CD when I got back to my tiny college town a year later and I've never stopped loving GLB - Bethlehem Steel is my favorite song, simply because I love songs that make you have memories of stuff that never happened to you...Grant Phillips has always astounded me with his massive vocal range and the purity of every note he hits - This one is highly recommended for it's sweeping landscape-y sound and the bitchin' lyrics...Enjoy...
