Wanted to post a link to this well written Steve Albini interview in the Pheonix paper this week. Daniel Brockman talks with Steve who provides thoughts regarding Shellac's tour and live show routines, the new album Excellent Italian Greyhound, what Excellant Italian Greyhound actually means, an ancedote about the band Bush, and another statement about the president Bush. It is a lengthy meandering read with sharp wit and various cracks at societies in general, akin to a Shellac listening session perhaps, I could keep going, or you could read it yourself, its here http://thephoenix.com/Article.aspx?id=49630&page=1
And I'm going to quote directly from the article here regarding this song:
Steve: The song’s a bummer.

The track is great, indeed - but I really, really appreciate the interview link. Much like Shellac's live appearances, Albini's interviews are far between, but not to be missed. And this is one of the best I've read.
Thanks!
