Darryl still kills. Head Automatica closed with I Shot William H. Macy- delivering such a feavor at the very end of their set at the Music Hall of Williamsburg on 10/20. I think it was more intended for all the Glassjaw fans. It was a sold out show and it was fun. But this last one was something special on top of all the greatness.
They played a handful of so called "new songs", which were really dub- influenced and I enjoyed. But they had mentioned a new album the last time I saw them back in January of 2009. Some album tentatively titled Swans or some shit. Something to that effect. Still no word....
And don't even ask about glassJaw...

Sweet! I'm a big fan of glassJAw. I need to get some new posts about them up here, including free downloads. Maybe I'll poke my head around again here soon!

p-wagz - glad to see you still around. please post on glassJaw. I have been epic-ly trying to grab one of those super rare 7" they have been releasing (1 song from their "upcoming" EP every 2 months or so. but they print 500 and they all sell out after a couple of hours. it sucks. there is alot of new material floating around, but it has not been easy to track down.
Ilay - suddenly?! I'm surprised, they have left quite the lasting impression considering no new albums since 2002 or something. and people are still clamoring for them to come back. I know I am. this is a good head automatica song from their first, Dacadence. _Also, I posted about glassjaw a few months ago and then a year ago to, but I usually talk about HeadA when I do, so it might have been one of those. hell, you are a consistent reader. no timewarp, just tagging issues!
haven't been thinking about them, i guess.
i do have tagging issues. it is annoying that many of my tagged artists disappeared. the ones that remained but were changed to the wrong artists are even worse. grrr.
eh, Mog is in a bit of a shambles huh? I hope it doesn't completely fall apart. or rather, I am in self-denial that it already has. really glad to see you posting this past week! its like old-times!
