i'm in love with stacy's mom.

(MAX BURSTEIN you know this brings you back to 7th grade)
Anyway, so a few months ago, everything on my computer was erased (including my measly 2800 song library which was already stunted because of my LAST computer failure) and I was putting some OLD cd's back onto my iTunes when I found my beloved burned copy of "Welcome Interstate Managers." So I have been blasting it through my speakers for the past 30 minutes and it really isn't my FAVORITE kind of music but it was just making me so happy that I just HAVE to post a mog about it (duh!)
Track List
1. Mexican Wine
2. Bright Future In Sales
3. Stacy's Mom
4. Hackensack
5. No Better Place
6. Valley Winter Song
7. All Kinds Of Time
8. Little Red Light
9. Hey Julie
10. Halley's Waitress
11. Hung Up On You
12. Fire Island
13. Peace And Love
14. Bought For A Song
15. Supercollider
16. Yours And Mine

Bold tracks are some of my personal favorites.

By the way, does anyone else remember that "All Kinds Of Time" was in that episode of the OC where Ryan and Marissa first start hooking up..... yes.. well.... I do. Max don't make fun of me.

and right now I please M.I.A.

So, go to myspace.com and in the music search engine, look up M.I.A.,

there, her first song is "GRAPES remix"

pretty much, if you're not familiar with it, it's nump's "I got grapes" and of course, M.I.A. remixed.

great great great. max actually told me about this awhile ago on bart, but I just stumbled upon it and found it was pretty hilarious and that M.I.A. is crazy and I love her.

Just as I love a certain... oh..... like.... kanye west... and for some reason people keep faulting me for that?

lovely stuff

So basically, I'm pretty sure I've always loved Kanye but I just started re-listening to him. I'm not into a lot of these songs, but "Livin' In A Movie," "Out Of Your Mind," "Apologize," "Home," and "All Falls Down" featuring Lauryn Hill, are really really good. In general, most of what Kanye Does is really great

1. Intro
2. Doing Fire
3. Self Conscious (A.K.A. Yeah)
4. Gossip Files
5. Wack Niggaz Feat. Talib Kweli
6. I Need To Know
7. Out Of Your Mind
8. Livin' In A Movie
9. Drop Dead Gorgeous Feat. Murphy Lee
10. Wow Feat. Glc
11. Apologize
12. Hey Mama
13. "The Good, The Bad, The Ugly Feat. Consequence"
14. Keep The Receipt Feat.Dirt Mcgirt (O.D.B.)
15. Heavy Hitters Feat. GLC
16. My Way
17. Home
18. '03 Electric Relaxation Feat. Consequence
19. All Falls Down “Featuring” Lauryn Hill
20. Through The Wire (Freestyle Remix)

home, sick and very bored

So I'm home from school, pretty sick, and I've found that I don't want to do tomorrow's homework just yet. I'm looking for a way to mash up music files on my computer (PowerBook G4) using free software but... I'm having trouble finding this imaginary software. Does it exist? Where can I get at it?

Oh jees, someone save me.
PS. This video is for anyone who's ever had a MySpace. Gym Class Heroes go. This is a crazy video.

afro haitian

This is actually really amazing to watch and REALLY a lot of fun. I still really want to switch out of the class at BHS, but still, it's alright for the time being. I'd have to say the best part of this class is warming up to African/Techno beats. Supersick, you don't even know.

hyndie?

I'm so torn between indie and slap right now it's not even funny. Part of my life is spent practicing Afro Haitian skills to hyphy beats and the other half is spent zoning out to indie. Which is a really great mix if you ask me, but I am a little musically confused. It's like my slap and indie are my divorced parents and I'm being forced to split my time equally with em. There's only one solution....MASH-UP
+=AMAZING
