Love don't haunt the tavern. it's not drunk on the balcony. it don't spill out at 2 a.m. into the street....

...street to nowhere = nothing short of amazing.I consider albums/songs exceptional if I can listen to it over and over and over and never get tired of it. my street to nowhere album never leaves my cd player. my car, my computer, my stereo. turn any of these on and you will hear dave smallen's powerful voice and emotional lyrics pour out. street to nowhere first caught my attention on the dog problems tour. i was immediately drawn to them. a month later i got the opportunity to see them again at a much smaller show. they played with a couple local bands at the avalon theater in salt lake city. there were probably only about 30 people at that show and the majority of them were there to support their friends who were opening for STN. basically...this was the best show i have ever been to. playing for a dozen or so kids probably wasn't their idea of a great or successful show, but because of this show i will be a fan all the way. i was lucky enough to see them yet again with straylight run a few months later and they were equally as amazing as the previous two shows. nothng beats a street to nowhere show. all four of them put everything that they have into each and every show. the emotion that comes off that stage is unbelievable. it's really nothing that can be described if you haven't seen them live. i strongly suggest putting this album on the top of your "albums to purchase" list and go see them the next time they roll through your town. you will not regret it.the only thing i regret is not knowing about them sooner...
