Saw Killswitch Monday at House Of Blues, it was a tight set and the new stuff was pretty good, Adam D. jump on the bar and came my way, I touched him and I think he spit on me. All in all it was a great show.
with the winter here it has put me in my Nick Drake state of mind. at this time I like to listen to folk music for some reason i.e. Nick Drake, Syd Barrett. My favorite album to listen to at this time of year, even thought it is not a folk album is "Pet Sounds", by the Beach Boys, that is my favorite album of all time.

Sometimes ya just need the change. Have ya ever heard Bill Morrissy? A Folksinger of some repute. His song "Birches" reached out an' hooked me on first hearing...i've been listenin' ever since.
That Duncan Sheik album "Phantom Moon" is a very nice homage to Nick Drake ... well worth checking out IMHO.
Nick Drake is a great choice for this time of year...I tend to get into a lot more Sunny Day Real Estate and Unified Theory once the snow starts coming as well...man if I had three wishes...
