for most of my life this day would slip by without significance. i learned to forget celebrations of something i had been without since i was too young to talk. now that i am a mother, and have some amazing father's in my life that i know and love, i try to remember to *remember*.this song was one of the few things that i attached to memories of my father, so i suppose it is my way of saying happy father's day to the keen father's i know here. happy father's day kevin, gary, dale, henry and all the others that i'm still getting to know.xxxlucy.

crazy in a good way, with the grand parents around, great grandma, brothers, sister in law and their kids.............well it has a way of wearing a person down. Not to say I did not have an incredible time, home made lasagna, salmon patties and all the fixings made for a great night. It just felt good to come home, slip on my pajamas and slippers and crawl into mog. I think you know what I mean.

I've been trying to bring up the father's day talk at my house. "Hey.........are you aware that it's father's day today?". Both my son and wife seem to ignore me. My son is just giving me a stone-face. What's up with him?
Well..........I forgive him. His mother on the other hand. I bet she will claim that there is no such thing as father's day.
