WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

hello, goodbye (part one?)

Posted over 2 years ago
hello all. i just wrote a really long entry and it was deleted. dag, i hate that. well let me try to remember what i was saying..sorry for not talking to all of you in so long, been much too busy with my photo stuff and evolving my music taste. to explain what i mean, here are some new bands your should hear right now:first off is hellogoodbye. i know, it seems pretty unconventional... but completly serious here, these boys are SO adorkable. i saw them live last week with the hush sound and boys like girls and thier set was so cute. they had a fake house party.. and for the encore they played a cover of the beastie boys. it was very very cool. if you really need a technicoloour, poppy pick up... pick up thier album! i reccomed the tracks: "oh, it is love" and "here (in your arms)"next up to bat is my new favorite band of all time, the decemberists. i want to marry colin meloy. he is the most gorgeous, most wonderful man alive (aside from ben gibbard) The songs that this band write are so phenomenal. weather it be folklore ("the crane wife"), morbid miscarragies ("leslie anne levine"), or even epic stories including revenge, pirates, and getting eaten by a whale ("the marnier's revenge song"), the decemberists use so much detail and imagination to create stories and pictures with every album. very goood! as for reccomendations..... get everything. absolutely freaking everything. As for other bands, this will evolve. I will probably wait another few months before writing it. but that means you kids will just have to wait.i have an interview at starbucks tomorrow. wishe me luck <3xoxoxmadisonPS:this photo was on the webiste of chris walla of the hall of justice/death cab for cutie fame. we all love him! enjoy~http://hallofjusticerecording.com

  1. dj ivi says oh i hate that so much - when you pour your heart out, and the page just loses it... i swore i would never let that happen again, by writing everything in a text editor (offline, like notepad or word) but, even still i do this every once in awhile. i positively cried once when i spent all night writing a huge dissertation on one of my favorite bands, only to have it get deleted when i hit the publish button. this post looks great though! glad you were able to recreate it!
