Louis XIV's new album Slick Dogs and Ponies shows a level of maturity and orchestration that any fan would love. From the inclusion of the ripping harpsichord in "Guilt By Association" to the whining strings in "Air Traffic Control" to the epic vocals laid down in "Thief in the Choir", there isn't much that this album doesn't offer. A great aspect of the band itself is that when touring this album, their shows average around $5. Great deal? I think so.
