It seems as though my summer '08 began with Lou Reed and will end with The Go! Team. I can't ask for anything better. Here's a list of their tour dates.

Those of you who don't know the Go! Team, they really are one of the best blends of various types of music. They not only blur the lines between different genres but they often blur the line between what is music and what isn't by blending in everything from playground type chants to jet noises.

as a big strokes fan, how do you feel about pharrell williams possibly producing their next album?
I don't really mind it that much ya know. I respect Pharrell as a producer a lot and I mean I don't expect him to pull any b/s. But I'm an extremely open minded listener... the type who even if I hate something right when I listen to it I'll give it another chance. and yourself?
Sometimes when i initially don't like an album, it's not until months later that i give it another chance. I think it's exciting to think they might work together. The song he and Julian and Santogold did for Converse is pretty good too.
