Wanted to throw out this jam by an early 90's funk band called Freak Power. Formed by Norman Cook (AKA Fatboy Slim) and former bassist with the Housemartins, among his other musical excursions.
This band put out a few albums with a retro funk groove harkening back to 70's and 80's funkmeisters.
I recently got word that they may be putting on a reunion concert tour sometime in the near future, looking forward to it.
