AMG reviewer, William Ruhlmann, again proves what a dolt he is. So, HARVEST is an "uneven" album and "conflicting?" It's your writing that is often "conflicting" when, so often, your awkward music critiques dealve into psychological analysis. The examples of such are just too numerous to list, here.

Axis: A Distraction Of Sorts

Listening to Hendrix's second album some 40 years later, I still have to conclude my initial observations were correct. Overall, Axis is a major dropoff from the incredible genius of Are You Experienced.Upon it's release, I was jolted that Hendrix might already be out of ideas. It's not a bad album. As usual, another allmusicguide reviewer stretches his imagination beyond common sense. To say "No Line On The Horizon" is the band's response to all the criticism they received from an album in 2004????? AMG reviewers like to spill their own machinations, then work BACKWARDS to try and make it fit into their nonsensical album reviews.
