WE DO THE MASHED POTATO AND THE FUNKY CHICKEN

Rock for Hunger Fest 3 - Orlando, Florida November 15th Preview

Posted about 1 year ago

The time has come again. Rock for Hunger Fest 3 is finally here! As much as our staff will tell you that we are incredibly excited, fear and uncertainly always shows its face in the background before such a major event. We have worked our hands to the bone to bring you this festival, so you better believe it will be the best event of the year. Below, you will find my personal preview of the music and artists appearing at the festival based off of a few questions I have received from ticket buyers. Just in case you weren't 100% convinced of your attendance on Saturday, I think this should put you over the top.

If I can only see a handful of bands on Saturday, who should I see?

As difficult of a question as that is to answer, considering that every single act on the bill was hand-selected by our entire committee, I will try to respond as unbiased as possible. The answer also has a lot to do with your personal taste. To make it fair, I will try to avoid listing any of the previous featured artists promoted in this column.

Pictured Left to Right: Kardinall Offishall, Junkie Rush, and Rubox Cube.

To satisfy your hip-hop needs and endless desire to dance, you will definitely need to stay for Kardinall Offishall. After all, how could you miss the first ever live rendition of the hit "Dangerous" in Florida? History in the making my friends.

For your funk rock fix, Junkie Rush will be a grand enjoyment. They have never ceased to amaze the Orlando community as they continue to get better and better.

Finally, Rubox Cube will be one of the most refreshing acts of the night. Who doesn't want to take a break from all of the rock, reggae, and hip-hop to hear a very talented beatboxer? He will definitely entertain you on the Whole Foods Stage.

If you haven't already, get your tickets now!

We will see you in a few hours at the Plaza Theatre for Rock for Hunger Fest 3!
