WE DO THE MASHED POTATO AND THE FUNKY CHICKEN

Random European Music... What could be better?... a trip to Europe...

I am pretty sure that I suffer from insomnia. Pretty sure, like almost sure, I mean I know I have ADHD and the boy I really like just called me and we talked for an hour and I am so excited I want you to feel the excitment by not putting any punctuation. Ugh, need to take a breath there. And I am spell checking all my other Mogs, and Blogs, and Twitters... and I feel like a crack head.

Which takes me back. To Paris. 2001. I went to a music shop to buy an MCSolar cd ( he is the Parisian version of P. Diddy, or maybe even Mos Def.. cause he is cheeezzeee like the both of those fools) and I, once again, stumbled on a CD by a woman named "RES." I still am wondering how I do this, as if some divine hand points me in the right direction. I still dont get it.

Kinda rock, kinda electro, kinda weird... kinda R&B.. I dont know what the hell it is... though she looks like this sorta hot lesbian friend of mine... no I am not a lesbian myself, BUT you know what I mean.....

She has tacky tribal tattoos and uses lots of guitar. She also covers Bob Dylan, but take my word for it.. I think India.Arie listened to her back in the day and got some inspirtaion. Just take a listen.....

Another killer recommendation... keep em' coming.  Guitar here sounds like a sample, possibly even thrown through som extra wah-wah... India.Arie definitely scooped some inspiration here...

    Good lookin' out.

I've got some Funk tracks from a soundtrack that I did for one of my wife's video projects, and would love to hear vocals over the top of that.

Not bad. At first listen, I prefer, say, Santogold, but not bad at all.
