A protege of India. Arie, a lover of Raaheem and Erykah and lover of all things ATL... Anthony David is a soul singer with a guitar, as if nothing could be scarier.

I am kidding.

I actually like this album, while its not the most poetic, it still is a solid soul/rock album and at while his message isnt clear, at least his words are.

No metaphors, no simile's David straight up tells you he is a cheater, a woman lover, a hater of cheaters and wants to love you.

And tells you what a woman wants.

My favorite tracks include the single "Words" with India; "Stop Playin'" and "Cheatin Man."

"Cheatin" gets a little wordy and a little "preachy" as opposed to "peachy" but it leans more to soul unlike the rest that have heavy acoustic guitar solos that I have never really been a fan of.

Will he last? Will he blow up?

Meh.? Its unclear... but I will put my cards on the idea that he will be a great opening act for the likes of India, Raaheem and Dwele.
