How about customizing web radio to stream just what you want? Well, there's an webapp that does just that Musicovery. It comes with your standard Web2.0 type interface, so it's easy to navigate and use. The free version is low-fi, but for $2 a month you get high-fi quality.It has a great visual music navigator built in once the music starts streaming.

Google have tagged on a service to their Google Talk that let's you see whateveryone is listening to as they chat: this week's top songs. Red Hot Chilli Peppers have just got the no.1 spot, with 'Dani California'. Loads of new tracks appearing on the list as I write.
