i dunno, george chen snagged me and now i have YAOSCA (yet another online social community account).
i spent today doing some random stuff, picking up my car from the shop and they popped the tire. so i had to get another tire. then when getting the tire fixed i worked on club sandwich (our bay area all-ages music community/show collective) mailing list and myspace page. checked out some bands that wanted shows music and etc etc.
then i got my car back and it was right away JAYLIB champion sound. ffreaking amazing stuff.
then i got home and cleaned up my studio a bit. yesterday i replaced the cpu of my Rhodes Chroma with the CC+, so now I have midi. freaking mindblowing. more on what i did today.. played with mixing some of my tracks with different compression settings, not happy in general. still haunted by steve albini's hatred for compression, and confused why my compressor has no threshold settings. also im not sure if my 1-4 channels on my mixer are stereo or just plain balanced. manual doesnt say, and im lacking necessary cables to test myself into an answer.
hm, my roommate is sick and im going to play with midi stuff. anyone need an alesis qs6.1? i dont, anymore
