Grandaddy has ceased to exist as a group. The unclassifiable band from Modesto, led by Jason Lytle has called it quits. Lytle continues touring on his own. I think Grandaddy's music will never die. It is probably the only music I never get tired of. Candid and sophisticated at the same time, with lyrics that really are out of the ordinary, the songs grow on you and stay in your head a long time.Long live Grandaddy.
