I hope you slept well last night, that there were no monsters.

And you thought I was posting about foxy she-Moggers... Well, not really. A "lassy mog" was a classic home-baked treat. Its charming name is derived from a local dialect of the Canadian Maritimes where "lassy" stands for molasses and "mog" is a small, low-rising cake. I'm eating one right now. Pretty good!

Sad news - Last Saturday, Esbjörn Svensson, leader of the Esbjörn Svensson Trio (E.S.T.) died from complications following a diving accident in the Baltic Sea, near Stockholm.
The 44-year old Swedish pianist/composer was known for his melodic jazz open to rock and electronic influences. The EST was due to perform at the Montreal Jazz Festival on June 30th. He had been a frequent visitor at the Festival. He will be missed.

There's always one monster, the blonde one sleeping on my bed ;)
This song is seductively hypnotic.
I always have monsters...
