Stephen and I recently agreed that "Little Creatures" is our least favorite Talking Heads album. As a result of this agreement I ended up listening to it again, and I'm developing a sincere affection for its total weirdness.Things I Like About "Little Creatures"1. The baby theme. I submit that only David Byrne could write lyrics like the ones in "Stay up late."2. The unexpected and somewhat unsettling country vibe on "Creatures of Love."3. The lyrics for "Creatures of Love."(A woman made a manA man he made a houseAnd when they lay togetherLittle creatures all come out)4. The song "Walk it down," which is not baby-themed, but which is awesome.I've also been on a bit of a "Speaking in Tongues" jag, but mostly I'm just listening to "This must be the place" on repeat ad infinitum.
