I have an unhealthy addiction to music. This last month, heck, these last two weeks I've gotten a LOT of albums...a few examples:1) beta band - the 3 EPs. FINALLY! i saw them when they opened for radiohead - was it in madison square garden? - and i liked their stuff. this is the first proper album of theirs that i acquire.2) the first half of sonic youth's discography -- woot! got the ones that i didn't have. 3) my bloody valentine - four EPs: ecstasy, strawberry wine, you made me realise (which i already had) and feed me with your kiss. i think now i am missing tremolo... and a couple albums... which i've already spotted. cookies!4) pavement: wowee zowee, sordid sentinels edition. many thanks to fastnbulbous for his end-of-year list. i hadn't heard of fujiya and miyagi, ellen allien + apparat, nor of nathan fake. the fujiya and miyagi album is excellent.
