what music would malcolm x have listened to back in the day?

would you say more funk? more jazz? more r'n'b? some argue that because he was a muslim minister that he would have been into jazz(?) . i personally see him as a funk man... i invite you to add any tracks you feel epitomize the man...

  8. contrabandwidth says In his biography, he actually name checks many of the big band/swing era of the Jazz Age. This was before he went to prison. He apparently was a great dancer and all he did other than elicit drug trading was hang around the clubs in Harlem and such. I don't know what he listened to after that, because I sadly lost the book before I finished it. I think he would have been down with the likes of P.E. though.
