Sweet sound to listen to with a nice glass of Cote de Blaye
Thanks for posting. I've never heard of Mirah before. I wonder whether she's managed to reach that sound organically and or whether it was speeded up.

You should definitely listen to her... there's some stuff here on mog http://mog.com/music/Mirah
the track i posted is her only track (that I know of) in which she is without instruments. very particular voice... got cheese with your wine?

this was fun to listen, actually i played it twice to be sure the song played that way.
is this an standard? im pretty sure i heard this song before.
i agree at wine & cheese to compliment this post.

... hmm... now i understand why bartleby thought it was sped up. it WAS sped up! must have been the wine and cheese that prevented me from noticing at the time... I'm going to try again:

Hey, thanks for re-posting this charming little tune. I liked it the first time even when it was sped up. I forgot to mention that I find her use of shark to describe a loving person is quite alluring.
