  1. kristiana says (from Wiki) "Holy Fuck is a lo-fi improvisational electronica band from Toronto, Canada. They are a part of Dependent Music, a music label/collective that began in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia in 1994. Called "Toronto's evil supergroup"[1], Holy Fuck includes members of other notable bands Wintersleep, King Cobb Steelie, By Divine Right and Blue Rodeo. The band uses live instrumentation and miscellaneous instruments and non-instruments (including a 35 mm film sequencer) to achieve electronic-sounding effects without the use of laptops or programmed backing tracks. The band was originally formed by Brian Borcherdt. According to Pitchfork Media, "The band was formed with the intent of creating the equivalent of modern electronic music without actually using the techniques-- looping, splicing, programming and the like-- of that music." And this one is pretty. Too bad recorded with phone, gets bad during the loud parts. But still nice.

  14. Hermes says Woheee. I love this. Especially the first one. This is almost noise, but only almost. The rhytm structure is still too conservative, for denominating it that way, and their approach says, the don't want to be noise artists, but regular ones. Anyway, a great find. And: Small festivals rule, only knew Brazilian Girls of the line-up. But I didn't look closer at the bands. Look what kind of music they make, and decide then. I also have a very small and experimental festival around the corner and it's hell better than all big ones, I have been, let it be alone because of the atmosphere. I usually work there and there's no real border between artists and audience. This here looks a bit bigger, but who knows ... .

  15. kristiana says It's a pretty chill event (lots of hippies :P), it would probably be a lot of fun. I like smaller events too, as you say, a better atmosphere. Very pretty location too. Yeah, I dig it! The structure may be conservative but it sure makes me jump up and shake what the gods gave me ;) I think this would be a very fun type of band to be in.

  18. kristiana says I suspect it would be lethal as well, Soul. Goddamn what I would give to have someone like this playing AT LEAST once a week in my town. My tribal needs would be met! ;) Glad you liked Mike! Want to evolve? De-volve? What have you? :)
