For Ilay (Poe to you. For Shame.)

Posted over 4 years ago
I first saw this clip thanks to Neill. Neill is pretty dependable like that. Poe, what are you thinking on this balmy Cambodian afternoon? Have clouds gathered? Will you see the stars tonight? My sister myPriestessIn this we share this - all there is. I finally got In Rainbows on vinyl today. It made my day. Beforehand I was pining for a shiny red Jaguar Fender. I saw it yesterday, played it. Fell in love with it. Went back today. Played it again. Goddamn. It's pretty hot damn.

  4. kristiana says What happened to the Fender? It's sitting in the local, overpriced music shop. After a long afternoon of running around to pawn/music shops looking for gear, I spied this bass at the last stop. I've never picked up a bass and liked it as much as my crappy lil ol Steinberger copy. But this one. So many other things I need first, unfortunately. Like a decent amp. RUB A TUG TUG?

  5. kristiana says I wonder if ANYONE tried out my Radiohead playlist from many moons ago. I always kinda hoped someone would get back to me and give me their feedback. But alas. I nominated In Rainbows for my top ten, even though I hadn't listened to the whole thing through yet, just a few songs here and there. Those songs were enough. Plus, I know me, and I know Radiohead, and the Zeitgeist of the moment left no question - it would be better than good. So, as with things I'm excited about, I waited till I owned it on vinyl to listen to the whole thing through. It had to pass the ping pong test. Which it did with flying colours. Rainbows even. I love the opening. I was curious about how the album would start. Once I heard it, it seemed like they couldn't have done it any other way.

  7. kristiana says Like I said...we, in the know. ;) Ceremony is by far my favorite NO song. Breaks my heart every time. Gah! I've been thinking about the concept of "soul-mates" so much lately. Back at ya! If ya can't track down that soul-mate tonight, try talking to En-hedu-Ana. There's a muse, and a half. This gal needs to get ready for band practice.
