defines us. Feist, and the sound of Nova Scotia.First, a hymn to start us off......then into a cool rendition of When I Was A Young Girl (sound gets muffled when everything kicks in around 1:36, what can ya do?)......and here are a few short clips, including that Bee Gees cover. Great singalongs, sometimes even managing to drown out all the yammerers at the back of the room (really, wtf?). I can only assume those were the people who showed up to hear 1,2,3,4? She is really so lovely. And I got my singalong to See Line Woman for the encore. She was sure to make many references to her deep connection to N.S., including that she was born in Amherst (closest hospital to Sackville, N.B. at the time), the fact that Mushaboom is a town in N.S., and that The Water was written about Peggy's Cove just outside Halifax. She also tried to get her Nana, Aunts, etc. to come up to the front but I think they were safe and secure at the back. Oh, and I love the fact that they were selling little music boxes that play the tune of Mushaboom for $10.
