When I was 6 years old in 1962, I had a transistor radio and would listen to that sweet mono sound coming from 1 lttle ear bud. Late at night I would tune in to my favorite station in Dallas, Texas, KLIF, and listen to 'Top 40' radio. All of the greats, Beatles, Dave Clark Five, Rolling Stones, Motown.
