are you talking to me ?

well, she wasn't talking to me, but a guy can dream, can't he ?Bettie Serveert played in Philly last week at a small venue called "The Fire", a backroom of the Philadelphia Bar & Grille. The show was barely publicized, and there were three warm up acts, so the penultimate show of their US tour in support of their new album began at 12:15 am on a Thursday morning ! As a result of the poor publicity and the late starting time, there were only about 20 people in the crowd. Too bad for the other couple of million Philly residents who missed a great show. A highlight for me was when they sang "Lover I Don't Have to Love", and Carol looked directly at me as she sang "your hands on me, pressing hard against your jeans, your tongue in my mouth, trying to keep the words from coming out, you didn't care to know who else may have been here before". Yeow.BTW, Bettie Serveert is Dutch for "Bettie to serve", a reference to Dutch tennis player Bettie Stove. And in trying to find a link to supply to whoever is reading this, I was fortunate to stumble upon a complete concert from the current tour. So see what you missed by checking out this link:http://www.fabchannel.com/bettieserveert
