Shit...............Did I do That!?(nothing 2 see here move along)

Posted over 5 years ago
I just gave up 11/2 year of sobriety for a night of unknow reality. I drank and I feel like shit and now what do I do. My will has failed me. And I admit this to you all. My fellow mog'ers. Join me now as I sit here and ask why. Have a nice day!

  5. dermahrk says Uhhh, Bill W died a long time ago. I've been sober for 7 years this December. AA was a place to go when I was out of a job, but once I started working again, I haven't been back. Some people swear by it, but in the end I guess I didn't need it. In any event, get back on that wagon. People slip, but try not to use it as an excuse to keep drinking. Or, find out where RockNRoll Pimp lives if you need a drinking partner. :)

  6. the one says no one can take that 1 1/2 years - you'll always have that and can take that experience into your next sober hrs, days, weeks, years. you went out for 1 day and 1 day only, and there's no need for it to be more. i strongly suggest getting your butt to a meeting and sharing what happened. and don't forget that it's much more than just "will" that keeps us/you sober (in fact, it was that will/control that drove me to use ) and you need to connect with that less tangeable, very powerful medicine. good luck.

  7. killjoy says Thank you all for the words of incouragment. it helps to know that there are people out there that understand. This place is great! They way my head feels right now reminds me why I do not drink. As the song goes "Back in the saddle again" kat3260-that is the first album I listened to. I needed a little bit of enlightenment!
