Sonny Boy, Little Walter & Wolf were my favoite harp players. I purchased the "Down & Out Blues" LP when it was first released by Chess around 1960. The LP cover is a classic original photo. "Fatten' Frogs for Snakes" was my favorite song on the LP. I miss the old blues greats!
That's a great album. I didn't catch on to this kind of music until maybe 1965, and found the album soon after. I wonder if the real-looking derelict on the cover was paid for being photographed, or later knew he was on the cover.
