Thanks go out to the great help at pita pit in Norman, OK
About three weeks ago I was in Norman, OK at the University of Oklahoma for the CEDA debate nationals. On the final day we were to spend in Oklahoma Kelly and I were "allowed" to sleep in. In other words, Pinto never told us the change of times for when we would leave the hotel so we weren't ready. Either time they came to fetch us. So when we finally managed to get out of the hotel it was time for lunch, and as it wasn't Pinto driving us to campus, we were dropped off for a meal at the pita pit. As we stood waiting for our wonderful pitas to be assembled, a great song came on, followed by two more. When another guy came in to help out, he teased the woman helping us for listening to the artist. Both Kelly and I were thoroughly enjoying the artist and told her so. She excitedly let us know who it was, and even offered to write it down on a napkin so we would remember the name when we got home so we could get some of her music as well. Joanna Newsom. As soon as we got back to campus to watch outrounds I grabbed some of her music and listened eagerly. Although I don't usually like female artists, I am a big fan of Joanna Newsom. Who knew, finding a new favorite in a pita pit at the University of Oklahoma
