  2. cbowers says I'm really into The Thermals right now and I keep going back between Bloc Party and Silversun Pickups. Winter go-to's are NIN's last two albums, anything pre-XO Elliott Smith and Badly Drawn Boy's About A Boy Soundtrack is a perfect winter snow record. MMJ & Band of Horses are prefect winter bloom artists though.

  3. Jonh Ingham says Ditto on Bloc Party and The Shins. Just Jack as well. I'm still working on making sense out of Cold War Kids, but it's got a thunderous bass and that's always good to shake the icicles.

  4. Mike the Knife says Damn! I'm in the cult of Hatherley, kb. She really does it for me (along with the new Shins album). I gush here (http://mog.com/Mike_the_Knife/blog_post/41538), before addressing an old favorite.
