Any fans of the post-punk genre? What is a genre without its "post-" offspring to criticize it?
Anyway heres a nice gem from around the time Jimmy Carter got attacked by a rabid swamp bunny.The band's called Delta 5 and they were out of Leeds on the famous Rough Trade label. Active from 79-81 and they were a huge part of the postpunk movement. Look it up, alot of great music came out of there.
The interesting part of this band is that it really opened up the doors to future female lead singer/feminist oriented bands. If you listen to this then listen to Sleater-Kinney's "jumpers", you can see just where Delta 5 has influenced today's music, even if by paving the path for "indie" girl singers. All right thats enough out of me.
