So typically, I'm not a fan of mainstream music, and if I am I like to keep it a secret. I don't like to follow society's trends. However, I have fallen in LOVE with OneRepublic. You've probably heard them from the song "Apologize" which was edited by Timbaland only to add some obnoxious "ay, ay, ay" to it. Anyways, I really liked their sound so I checked them out on iTunes and downloaded their album, "Dreaming Out Loud." Okay, they're amazing. It's a typical modern alternative rock sound, but I guess something that's a little different about them is their use of piano. It definitely dominates their tracks. I've always been a fan of slower songs for some reason. So my favorite two songs on "Dreaming Out Loud" are "All We Are" and "Come Home". (Side note: "Come Home" was featured on Gossip GIrl on January 2nd's episode.) Well that's all I have for now. I have a poetry analysis to get to... winter break came to and end so quickly.**I really wanted to add one of their songs up to this post, but it's not letting me because it's bought from iTunes...
