this past weekend=musical blissso wednesday i walk in to my government class to find my boyfriend who asks me to guess who is doing a secret show on friday. so after a few wrong guesses and frustration, i finally guess the white stripes. yes. the white stripes. turns out that they decided to kick off their tour in nashville and tickets went on sale thursday and sold out in 6 mins and somehow i managed to get one.friday we went to the cannery early and got in the front of the line and yes, i was on the front row. it was hands down the best show ive ever been to. they played both new and old songs from all of their albumns, from icky thump, to black math, to jolene, and of course they finished with seven nation army. plus, i got a tshirt made just for the night for only $5. as if that wasnt enough for one weekend, i then saw the rapture on saturday night at the mercy lounge. i danced the night away in the front row of course to what is, in my opinion, some of the best dance party music out there today.alright, thanks for letting me brag to you, mog universe. i thought you'd understand.
