A couple of weeks ago I saw Los Abandoned open for ex-Cibo Matto singer Miho Hatori in San Francisco. The crowd was obviously there for Miho, and were unable to fully let loose for Los Abandoned's energy-filled performance. Singer Lady P finally got them to get down toward the end of their raucous set.The vibe at the Great American Music Hall considerably chilled out when Miho and band came on. Her funny, surreal stories helped set the scene for the chill music she produces.
