Time for me to hop on the bus! I don't have any of his albums but I know he's dearly loved and I would surely be hooked, it just hasn't happened for me yet! Love this song, but never saw the video and it seemed awkwardly cool.

Yeah, RA is damn near amazing. Both his solo material AND Whiskeytown's work opened my ears to a lot of really great music I'd have never given a second (or even first) listen to.

Now that he's crept into my soul, I can't imagine how I ever lived without it. I just never heard anything that grabbed me until _Easy Tiger_. It was that breakthrough album that made me re-listen to and fall in love with everything else I've heard

Unless you have an inside connection and know something I don't know, I know they do not have any dates in that time frame right now. :(

You like the Monkey aye? That is some good stuff. I really like all of their beers but I am a hop head and love me some Hop Wallup! MMMMMMyummy. Good to hear you like some good brewski.

One side note about RA, I really went on a big RA kick for a while and then just felt overwhelmed with all the stuff he puts out. I had a hard time keeping up. I think I own everything up to Jacksonville Nights and then kind of lost a little bit of interest. Not that I will not get to his current stuff eventually. ....don't kill me Jameson.

I really love the Willie Nelson cd, Songbird. It was produced by RA and it is The Cardinals as Willie's backing band. Great cd if you have not heard it.

I managed to avoid Ryan Adams for a long time because I was determined that I didn't like "alt-country." It was listening to his cover of Wonderwall that changed my mind.

Darla - Same for me. I kept swearing that the alt country genre wasn't my friend...I stayed away from Ryan Adams, Drive-By Truckers, Uncle Tupelo, etc....basically all the good stuff hehe. So glad I finally came around...

I didn't really know what alt.country was so I wasn't put off by his debut album and I've bought every one since then. He's such a consistent writer, and he's hardly put a foot wrong (unlike the folks in that video).

I love his writing...it speaks straight to me. Hey, that's how I dance :p What...no good? hehe
