1. I own more tracks by Tom Waits than by The Minutemen. That's quite an accomplishment, given the brevity of the Minutemen's tracks.2. I own more tracks by Elmer Bernstein than by Apples in Stereo.3. I should really move my sound effects library out of my iTunes library.

I haven't seen any live music in probably 9 months. Sure, I've got my eMusic subscription, and I download my monthly 90 tracks, and I even have a backlog for next month. But part of me is wondering if not going to live shows is going to rot my soul and leave me a music hating husk.I'll try to post something if that's what happens. Should be an interesting experiment.

A short lack-of-caffeine fueled rant on sorting by number of tracks

Part of me loves the idea that the default behavior of My Digital Music is to sort by number of tracks. There is, I suppose, some level of logic for most people that they would own the most tracks of the bands they love the most.But this is a music-geek site, and at least in my case, this sorting method is giving back odd results, if the purpose of this sort mode is supposed to show my enthusiasm
