  2. Cody B says I love Biz Markie. thanks for the clip. I remeber his first 12" Bellevue Patient. It came out the same week as Licensed to Ill. I was DJ'ing an all ages club in Minnesota and stuff from both records and the kids hated it. 6 months later when I returned, you had to play every song from the Beastie Boys, and the rest is history.

  3. Cody B says I believe he also played at the first big rap show in Minneapolis..He was there, and Big Daddy Kane, and other Juice Crew Folks. He rocked it. Were you in the house Rawkiddo, it would've been around '86-ish at First Ave.

  5. Rawkkiddoh says Cody alas I was not. In 86 I would have been in the seventh grade, I was not going to shows on my own yet. First hip hop show I saw at first ave was PE with Run DMC.

  7. Rawkkiddoh says Thanks kaluss, it was a great show and I was young. I felt out of place at first, but once the music started the awkwardness disappeared.
