hi all! so last night i pulled out the old palace music vinyl and fell in love with this song all over again. is mog acting funny again or is it really true that noone has posted some old will oldham? well then, let me introduce you to who bonnie "prince" billy was before he started calling himself by that name.

I love this song carnally. The Frames used to cover it live (and if you can track down their live album 'Breadcrumb Trail', there's a great version of it on there) and I owe it to Glen Hansard and the boys for introducing me to Palace Music/Will Oldham/Bonnie Prince Billy. Great choice. I have a cat on my lap who will bite me if I get up to check, but is Ohio Riverboat Song on that album? I love that one too.

I meant Decatur (The Deck) but there was the club named that too. I wondered if there might be some confusion when I made that post. Ha! Funny though. I'm sure the word Crunk probably originated there (in the club "The Deck").
