I have absolutley fallen in love with this album, and this artist. At first listen, I thought she was a Tori Amos rip off of some sorts. Well I was completley wrong. After spending time today and yesterday diligently listening to her album, Stromata, I am blown away. She's a classically trained musician, with an angel's voice. Some stand out songs for me are The Dance, Habit, A Hopeless Attempt, and Stromata. Although I am sure others will come and go as my favorites. I also found this clip on YouTube that is not from this album, but it's just so good...

Charlotte is amazing. I don't have Stromata yet, but I do have a bunch of her earlier recordings. I thought On Your Shore was way overproduced and disappointing - I've never been happier to hear someone had left a major label. But all the EPs you can find on iTunes are worth a listen, as well as the various other mp3s that are floating around out there. (In particular, you might look for her cover of "Just Like Heaven," and a version of "Every Time it Rains" that's ten times better than the OYS album cut.) Thanks for the reminder about Stromata - I definitely need to get that one. :-)
