Ah...'tis the season! Summer winds down, Labor Day just around the corner, and young men's throughts turn towards SXSW Music Badges."South by Southwest 2007":http://2007.sxsw.com/ registration is open. And yup, this might be the year I ditch the anxiety ridden nightmare of hoping and praying my friend's brother's friend in Austin is able to come through and pick up the wristband for me and three other people and just buy a badge. Anyone else making the leap? Keep in mind, I'm thinking of the people who have absolutely no connection to the industry parts of it (i.e. except for being consumers of it) and just go to check out tons of bands. Seeing "Jason Forrest":http://www.cockrockdisco.com/DS-bio/bio-main.html right before "Tapes 'n Tapes":http://www.tapesntapes.com/ was a big revelation for me.Oh - and have you heard about any secret shows yet?--Jonathan

    Parker catalano says I've heard so much about tapes n' tapes but if they ca put on a good live show, I have that much more respect for them.

    PaganGirl says Young men aren't the only one's who's thoughts turn toward badges. There's nothing worse than standing outside waiting to get in while all those badge wearing a-holes walk right in off the street ahead of you.
