What a great song! One of those seemingly effortless pop moments that catch you on the first listen. Infectious, charming and wimpy. The rest of the album is pretty great as well.

Check out the video - so dopey and amateurish, but perfect for the song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fb21_w4uU1A

This pretty much bugs everyone I show. I still love it. Reminds me of a bizarre love child of Polyphonic Spree and I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing

It's been way too long. The Youth are back with easily their best in years. While it doesn't match the dissonant beauty and fury of their early days, this is my favorite since Goo.

where's a good starting place for sonic youth in terms of a first album to buy?

Evol! Everyone else will tell you Daydream Nation. It's great, but Evol absolutely rocks my world every time I hear it. Definitely not the easiest listening, but majestic and sweeping and angry and confrontational and jarring all at the same time. Bad Moon Rising and Sister are also terrific. If you want a more immediately approachable Sonic Youth, both Goo and Dirty are a bit more inviting on first listen.
