12-8-2009 PIANO SONATA IN E/A MINOR/MAJOR (MOVEMENT I) He sat at the piano. Correct posture was thrown to the wind as his elbows rose over his shoulders. His tattered t-shirt rippled against his thin yet taught biceps. His hands swept up past his chest and flowered out in two ragged claws that whistled upwards past his face. His forearms quivered like jelly as waves of electroch...

10-1-2009 An inevitable effect of being human is that at some point in your life you will be pulled in more than one direction at the same time. As a species we form groups in which all members feel they identify with one another on some level. Be it politics or religion, arts or the metaphysical, these hoards are the armies we align ourselves with. We "sign up" and raise the flag, draw our sword

Collaborating, And GOD,,,

(Sorry I missed two in a row. Here they are dear readers.)9-29-2009Collaborating with other artists can be a bag full of doorways. There's the initial reaction they get a "kick" out of. I'm sure their en

CAN WANTING TO BE,,,

Can wanting to be a muse be a justifiable endeavor? Before you answer that, make doubly sure you don't blind yourself with enthusiasm. The answer will depend on your state of mind as well as the situation and the object of your "muse-ment". When we want to "bemuse", nothing can inflate the ego like a successful musing campaign. On the other hand failure can have an equally deflationary result

What's Left Behind?

Three icons are no longer wwith us. All three have left behind a rich history of their shining moments as well as their tarnishments. I'll remember them when they shined. The Tonight Show was pretty much a staple when I was growing up. Eds' intro worked every time. I discoverd quite a few great bands on that show as well. The first time I ever "saw" Journey they performed "DON'T STOP BELIEVEIN
