For you Bass heads out there...

Posted over 5 years ago
I just read a great interview with Pino Palladino in Bass Player Magazine. This guy is one of my favorite Bass players in the world. I first heard of him on Tears For Fear's The Seeds of Love CD back in the 90's - one of my favorite CD's not just for the songwriting, but the musicianship and sound recording as well. It was just a great CD.More recently, Pino started playing with John Mayer, another of my favorite songwriters and musicians, as well as replacing John Entwistle, one of the greatest bass players ever, in The Who.You've heard him on Don Henley's "End of the Innocence" CD, John Mayer's "Continuum" CD, The Who's "Endless Wire" CD and Paul Simon's "Surprise" CD.Currently, he's grooving to Gnarls Barkley, so I guess he's pretty cool for an old guy.
