Soy un perdedor....

1994, was a year in which we lost a musical genius, that was never even fully tapped. Atleast the alternative rock era was still going strong and good music was still being produced. Stone Temple Pilots came out with "Big Empty" for the move The Crow. Beck had what I think was his best song "Loser". One of my personal favorites, "The Sign" by Ace Of Base came out. With those I have mentioned who could forget Live "Lightning Crashes", this song is wonderful. A little change in the line-up but Live is still around today, I haven't heard anything by them since this album but they might be good today, who knows?

  1. dbboucher says It was a good song, but here in Canada anyway, it was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY overplayed. It got to the point very quickly, that I absolutely hated hearing the song. It took me about 5 years before I could listen to it without immediately changing the channel. I'm over it now. They have put out a lot of albums since Throwing Copper, but I don't think they have ever achieved the same level of popular success. Still some pretty good music though, in my opinion anyway.

  2. Viva La Britt says My heart has a special place for _Secret Samadhi_, the record right after _Throwing Copper_. Ed Kowalczyk's voice is an absolute wonder. They're having a show here Friday but I have a midterm that night...wretched accounting course.
