WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Now THIS is FUNNY!

Posted over 2 years ago
Installed URGE the other day to see what it was like.I already had some of my tunes on my hard drive before the installation.I then let them be "managed" by URGE.I did a "get properties" within URGE on one of my tunes (really, MY tunes - although it may have been indicating the file on the URGE server (I hope)).The following screens say it all.The irony is that I am the artist - I still own all the rights. (This is such a HUGE double-edged sword, I'm grateful that it is up for sale on iTunes, Yahoo! Music, eMusic, and URGE... a copy of it sells once a month or so.)Just to celebrate, I'm managing my rights: Any MOG member can download a real, unfettered MP3 copy of The Red Rock Hills direct from my web site for free (just right-click and do save file as) right here.

  2. atman says just finished listening to that track. Good stuff! I like mellow acoustic stuff like that. Great for this dreary snowy day.

  3. chucky says Ha! How strange. Atman nailed it, great stuff to lift the spirits when it's yucky outside. Hey, do you ever play down in NC? (That might be a dumb question...) Because, when I move it would be cool to come check you out.

  6. jimmybearpearson says Deadmandeadman, Yes, the mp3 will work fine with iTunes! On a PC, you right click on the little link that says "right here" (the link in my first part of the post), then choose "Save Link As", then put the file in your my documents folder. You can drag it onto itunes, or you can do File->Import... On a mac, do control-click on the link that says "right here" (the link in the first part of my post). Choose "Save link as" and save the file to your desktop. Open iTunes and do File-> Import... Once iTunes imports it, it will probably be gone from your desktop. Hope this helps. If you need more info, please drop me a note and I'll help. "-)
