OK, enough dribble about what's in my head - it's busy enough in there as it is. Lets talk about something deep down in the guts of things. I could sit here and rattle of a list of fantastic guitarists, any of whom would be deeply recognizeable with the young, the middle-aged, and even some of the old.
But...I was talking to some of my son's contemporaries... said something about Jeff Beck, got "Jeff Beck? Who?".After retracting my jaw from the wooden slats on the floor, I thought about it for a second - and decided to take the non-curmudgeon approach (opting for the philosophical approach - the approach of discovery, not disdain). Said, "listen." Hands over iPod, plugs in some Jeff, young learner listens for a few seconds, then young learner smiles brightly.YES! The infection spreads again and some more. I love doing that.
