Very cool. The marimba part is hypnotic. What's the meter?
I'm hearing some high pitched noise in the background starting about 2:54, and it lasts nearly a minute and a half. You may want to check that out.
Otherwise, I like it! Thanks.
Hi! Thank you for the comment... It's nice to get feedback on my upcoming pieces.
I had a problem with a compressor on the right channel at about the place you're talking about... I'm in the process of re-interpreting the right hand part - I am going to use my hollowbody Ibanez for it with no compression and only reverb...
Ahhh... the meter! That's one of the wonderful things about the composition. I took the marimba (great midi tones on that one, I think) and made it "feel" like three. It will work against three or four. The guitars, drums and base are in four most of the time. So, I'm playing the listener's brain back and fourth between 4 against 4 and three against 4.
:-)
Hey folks, I was in the mood this evening to re-interpret the B and epilogue sections... It exhausted my soul (felt so good).
I've uploaded it to mog and updated it on my site (mentioned in the post).
Cheers!!!

I'm thankful for so many MOGgers for listening, sticking with me, and being patient about my posts. That pesky job thing keeps getting in the way ;-)
